What do I need for these sessions?

Simple... just your everyday use equipment. Your computer/laptop running Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 or Mac OS10.8 or higher. Along with a mouse, keyboard, earphones (with mic) and a stable internet connection.

How do I write/draw on the online whiteboard?

Great Question ! You will be provided with an large drawing tablet to write/draw with. It’s absolutely amazing !

Are the Tutor’s DBS checked?

Don’t worry... all Tutors at Tutor Pad been DBS (enhanced) checked. On top each tutor has been individually vetted before we allow them to teach.

Question 4

What if I’m not happy with the Tutor?

All our Tutors are very carefully selected from across the country based upon their academic excellence, tutoring experience & their ability to communicate effectively in an approachable and friendly manner.   However, If for any reason the Tutor assigned to you is not working out for you, please let us know and we will replace your current tutor. We do understand that not every tutor is going to click with you... so don’t worry.

Can I cancel & reschedule a session?

Private Session:
Most Definitely! We endeavour to work around your needs and convenience. Please provide your assigned tutor with at least a 24 hour notice so that you are not charged for that session.    Group Sessions:
Yes, you can cancel the upcoming session given a 24 hour notice has been provided to your assigned Tutor, so that you are not charged for that session.   However, you would be missing out on the material covered during that session whilst the rest of your group would continue to progress to the next topic. One way to catch up would be through the use of the online textbooks we provide. You can then run any queries from your self study on the google classroom forum, which will be addressed by the tutor either there in the forum or in your next session. Alternatively, you can take a one off private session to catch up (Ideal for if you missed several group sessions).    Providing Notice:

Question 6

Can I get a refund for the missed (cancelled) session?

Given that you cancelled with at least a 24 hour notice, we will use the fee paid for that session for the next. This way we won’t keep having to transfer the fee payable back and forth.

I would like to discontinue with Tutor Pad. Can I get a refund?

We’re sorry to hear that. Of course you can...all sessions after the first 4 (sessions) are fully refundable.

Question 8

Why are the first 4 sessions (4 hours) not refundable?

In order to provide each student with access to the Tutor Pad’s extensive services and the high-end graphics tablet (RRP £44.99), we have to keep a small portion of the fees non refundable.
